Acknowledgment

An acknowledgment notarization is a legal document that is filed in a notary public's office and confirms that the person who signed the document did so in their presence. We are generally required to witness the signing of a document as well as sign our own name next to the document. This ensures the document's authenticity and protects the signer from fraud.
